It’s important to know, however, to never use an alcohol-based cleaner on your smartphone. Many touch screen devices have a special chemical coating that helps to protect them. Using alcohol-based cleaners can deteriorate that coating over time. There are a number of alcohol-free cleaners designed for use with smartphones and other touchscreen devices. These typically feature a selection of microfiber cloths and specialty cleaning solutions, often in sizes that are convenient for travelling.
Finally, don’t forget that cleaning your smartphone means more than just cleaning the screen. Use the same techniques described in the above sections to clean the rest of the smart phone. Consider using a cotton swab with a specialty cleaner to get into all the nooks and crannies. Also, don’t forget to clean your phone case, both inside and out. Smartphone cases are generally made of sturdy materials that can stand up to everyday cleaning techniques.
