How to Disable Find My iPhone After You’ve Sent your Device
1. In order to disable Find My iPhone, you first have to remotely erase the contents of the device. To do so, go to the Find My iPhone feature on iCloud.com. If you do not see the Find My iPhone feature on iCloud.com, you’ll need to set up iCloud on your iOS device or on your Mac computer. Select All Devices and select the device you wish to remove. Then, click Erase and enter your Apple ID password. Since the device isn’t lost, do not enter a phone number. Note: If the device happens to be offline, the remote erase will begin the next time it’s online and you should receive an email that it has been erased.
2. Once the device is erased, click Remove from Account and all of your settings and content should be erased and others can activate the device with their information.
