How to Share Your Location on Google Maps

Location sharing is a convenient way to show friends and family where you are. If you're headed to pick up your sister, she can see how close you are and get ready to head out the door. If you're meeting a group of friends at a crowded concert or convention, you can see where they are without constantly texting. Show your pickup how late the train is running or whether you're through baggage claim at the airport.

Google Maps is one convenient, and usually fairly accurate, way to share your location. Here's some step-by-step instructions on how to share your location on Google Maps.
